Nostr Web Client

I just added BlueWallet with ln.tips as a secondary wallet to Wallet of Satoshi. I love Wallet of Satoshi, but sometimes it goes down.

I can always receive zaps through ln.tips, but I love zapping others so I needed another method.

This is how I did it:

1. Install Telegram and sign up with a fake phone number (I used Google Voice because the fuckers already have my phone number anyway)

2. Install BlueWallet

3. Visit https://ln.tips and open in Telegram

4. Type into the prompt:

/nostr add npub_where_this_is_your_public_key

5. Type into the prompt:

/link

6. Copy the address and head to BlueWallet

7. In BlueWallet, tap the + to add a new Lightning wallet, and then choose Import Wallet and paste the address from Telegram into the field

To receive zaps on nostr, you can type /help into Telegram to get you address. It should be something like btcapsule@ln.tips and you put this into your Lightning Tips on nostr.

That’s it! Now you have a backup if Wallet of Satoshi goes down. You can receive zaps, and continue to zap others!

Nice guide! You can also use Zeus instead of BlueWallet (much faster in my experience). Simply add a new LndHub wallet and scan the QR code you see when you enter /link in the LightningTipBot 🤙

Haven’t tried it with Zeus yet. I’m gonna work on that soon, but this should serve my needs for now. Thanks for ln.tips! Now that I have zaps, I get very disappointed when I can’t zap a note I like 😂

Connected to my Umbrel node through Tor. Not so fast because of that, but feel great to be secure and self custody.
