This new ncryptsec spec is very cool and useful, allowing you to safely export and import your key from one client to another.

From within #Amethyst, I encrypted my nsec with my own password and got my ncryptsec.

May I use ncryptsec outside #Amethyst?

Only in clients that support ncryptsec1, which are not many right now. :(

Is it a new NIP?

Right now, whoever has access to my device can export my nsec. That's dangerous for me.

Now if I login #Amethyst, for example, with my ncryptsec, is it possible for me or for someone else to export my nsec anymore?

Do you have a lock screen? If so, it should ask for your fingerprint or pin before exporting.

Strange, did it present any error when you tried to login?

It says, invalid key.

Should I try it again?

I tried it again with no avail. It says, Invalid Key.
