I see for all BP's claims to be investing in the future, actually they've again launched a share buy-back process this summer..., when a #corporation sees buying back its own shares as a viable investment then you know the top managers are lining their own pockets & are uninterested in any wider 'strategy'!

nostr:npub1g0tuf634rz4suczwj7kgnecr6cyt0eu9xmp3sp0fku68mqehq4msp3tvm4 Isn't this just a type of tax avoidance, rather than pay a dividend (income tax for this tax year), they increase the value of the shares which will eventually result in capital gains tax (a lower rate in some future tax year) ?
