China has responded it will do whatever it takes to defend its national interests in response to U.S. President Donald Trump's threat to add 50% more tariffs if Beijing doesn't withdraw its 34% additional tariffs, which itself is a response to President Trump's "reciprocal tariffs" he launched on China and the world last week. Meanwhile, countries are trying to navigate the new tariff storm Trump has unleashed: retaliate or compromise? Stay strong or back down? What's the latest on Trump's tariff war?
