Any worldschoolers on Nostr?

Why worldschooling/unschooling/homeschooling just makes sense: Worldschooling’s all about diving into real-world, hands-on experiences to supercharge learning, and what I love most: better results, faster results than regular school (that’s not difficult to beat though). To me, efficiency means everything, because my time with my kid is limited, and I don’t want to miss out on 80% of his life because of school.

From what I’ve seen, kids who are homeschooled or world-schooled often match or even crush it compared to traditional students, and they’re doing it in way less time. An individualized, decentralized approach to education is much more fun than school – and actually a real form of education and not indoctrination disguised as education.

Approximately 2 million families worldwide are engaged in worldschooling or homeschooling while traveling, according to the National Home Education Research Institute (NHERI)!

We homeschool and have a local homeschooling community.

How do yall divide up instruction?

What’s the daily time commitment?

Do parents in the community take turns instructing?

We do a couple of days a week. We go with our kids. All kids have their parents with them, but it's flexible, so you can drop off your kid if you need to run errands or something.
