Me too. I’m hoping a lot of users and communities go full nuclear and delete all posts and comments before leaving.

This won’t end well for Reddit
I don’t see how it can. I’ve already noticed a drastic decrease in my feeds of quality posts.
Same here. I’ve noticed the same posts stuck at the top of my feed all day. Before all this drama every time I opened Apollo there was always something new.
RIP Apollo, it will be greatly missed. I’ve never paid for an app, this was my only one. I night lifetime and never regretted it. It’s going to be very sad. Many hours spent in that app. It makes me want to create a personal project to mimic it
WefWef is a PWA Apollo clone for Lemmy. It works really well but the content just isn’t there on Lemmy and the fediverse just feels horribly broken.
Who in their right mind would go back to business as usual on Reddit after all of this?
I can’t understand how Reddit thinks this won’t be its demise.
I don’t see either. Here’s to Nostr and others like it that hopefully can take the scene. Too bad normies see Nostr as a “Bitcoin scam area” fingers crossed
Yeah I’m really hoping that Nostr takes off.
Lemmy instances are already defederating from each other. Users are already calling to kick other users off their instances so they aren’t defederated.
The #fediverse is inherently broken. #Nostr fixes this.
Yeah even if Reddit doesn’t completely die it will never be the same. Very sad 😢
I’m with you. But I really don’t like the idea of deleting posts. As an IT person some of that knowledge is impossible to come by. I have gotten so many things accomplished from very helpful posts from users. Deleting this would affect my work drastically. I’m all for Reddit getting fucked but I will miss all that info.
Agreed. I’m torn on deleting everything but at this point I don’t know how else users can fight back.
True. I am not sure either. It’s a hard thing to comprehend. All these clones are amazing but the content and data isn’t there yet. I hope in the years coming there will be multiple avenues for this sort of information.
