Why is this one your favorite?
This is basically the last Rolex that isn’t fancy/luxury. It’s a true tool watch. Which is what made the brand famous originally before they became luxury status symbols. This is the kind of watch you bash around while playing with the kids and ding and scratch it to hell. Then look back on every mark 50 years later as proof of a life well lived. Then your grandson gets it and it reminds him of your life and all the time you spent wearing it. It’s a good watch.

Good rule of thumb with watches. If you can’t scratch it up you can’t afford it.
