No, the only thing they can do is slow adoption down. But they can not stop the adoption. It is impossible (Physically impossible, Mathematically impossible)

You can not control something with regulations when there is nothing possible to attack.

If you think they could, i gurantee you they would already long ago have done it.

You’re approaching this from your point of view, you’re already deep into this and off the grid. The vast majority aren’t. They will use any and all tactics to prevent a decoupling from their system. They’re just getting started.
