We just sent out our first marketing newsletter for nostr:nprofile1qyjhwumn8ghj7en9v4j8xtnwdaehgu3wvfskuep0dakku62ltamx2mn5w4ex2ucpxpmhxue69uhkjarrdpuj6em0d3jx2mnjdajz6en4wf3k7mn5dphhq6rpva6hxtnnvdshyctz9e5k6tcqyp7u8zl8y8yfa87nstgj2405t2shal4rez0fzvxgrseq7k60gsrx6zeuh5t. When you want to honor privacy of your users, it makes mailing lists tricky. Every service out there unlocks tracking and snooping by default and some don't let you turn it off at all.

Here's how we did it:

1. Email addresses remained in the same system as our user registration for Maple, not shared with new providers

2. Links in the newsletter do not contain click tracking. That means you can hover over the link and see the true URL it resolves to

3. No tracking pixel

4. Images in the newsletter load from our trymaple.ai domain

5. Unsubscribe is easy and encouraged. If you don't want these emails, we don't want to send them to you

Enjoy the newsletter...or don't! I don't care.
