Juicy! 🧡

What kind of stone is it? Anyway, nice work.

Thanks. It’s called orange honeycomb calcite.

beautiful

It must feel weird to create something so beautiful & to then let it go.

💚

It’s bittersweet. I try to only make art that I would want to keep for myself. But at the end of the day, I’ve got rent to pay, and the skills I acquired to do all this will always be with me. And for this sculpture I remembered to get professional photos taken so I’ll always have those too. My goal is also for my artwork to spark conversations and get more people interested in Bitcoin. That wouldn’t happen if I kept everything for myself.

Nice but you honestly consider this art?

I'd call it a decoration rather than art.

Like putting up a live laugh love sign on your wall.

You could use a hug

Is this the most complicated, masterful thing I’ve ever made? No. But neither is it some modern art slapping paint on a canvas schlock either. I would argue that there is definitely artistry involved in the design and creation of something at this scale, even if its design is relatively simple. Is it also decoration? Yes. But what is art? If art is something that makes people stop and think… well hopefully this does that too just by its very nature. One of my goals with my Bitcoin art is always to spark conversations and help send people down the rabbit hole. I think a giant stone Bitcoin statue accomplishes that. “Huh. Why would someone want a giant Bitcoin logo statue?” And then the conversations start.

Awesome work mate.

A work of art is forever. Imprinted in history 😍💪💜
