Perhaps I am wrong, but I take the current situation with the high fees in the mempool as a good thing for few reasons:

1. More understanding that there are bad actors paid or with their own agendas that wants to hurt #Bitcoin

2. Realization that staying in Layer 1 is not an option running a business model that relays on #Bitcoin for retailing to the masses

3. Understanding that upgrading your business model to support LN⚡ is a must

4. More development is required to make the LN⚡more robust and the channels bigger, $300 to $400 won't cut it for B2B

5. New solutions are required in Layer 2, but they need to be decentralized or they will not take off. Competition is key for innovation, LN⚡is alone eating all the cake and therefore with little pressure to push forward, Michael Saylor is doing the ecosystem a service protecting his massive investment, in my opinion, he gets it and works on what is most required
