I have a challenge for you:

A mobile bitcoin wallet, with lightning support, with a full node, that is easy enough for a cashier to use to accept bitcoin at a food coop.

Bonus points if it can be configured in read-only mode so cashiers can only receive money, not send it.

Double bonus if all the money the cashiers take go to the same wallet!

Whatcha got, #nostr? Can anyone meet this challenge?

For on the go with POS, I use Breez. Can configure items with fiat pricing for quick selection to build up order.

But this is single user based, not kiosk for multiple cashiers on same wallet.

Maybe consider BTCPay and tablets.

If offline is needed, Id consider Fedimint in the future, and will be setting up an instance soon.

OK, so that sounds like a pretty good solution for a one-person operation (e.g. someone at the farmer's market) as long as they (and the customer) have an internet connection.

I'll check it out and see if/when I'm willing to recommend it.

Thanks for the pointer!
