Depends what you mean by exorbitant, but BBB tickets for next year were available at this years conf for $299. (Not sure what the regular early bird price is for next year, but most conferences have super good early bird pricing and can always sell later if one can’t make it).

Was my first time at BBB and waaaay preferred it to Miami. Met so many awesome people, both nostr/twttr friends and new friends.

Also really enjoyed talking to sponsors/vendors and asking questions about their art/products/services irl.

And lobbycon was as good as I’d heard 😊

Lastly, there are no VIP tickets/rooms, so everyone is together and only a few hundred people so overall a super intimate and relatable experience.
