Idk about doing it to get recognition.

He really doesnt need it which makes me think he actually thinks that is for the better.

I think its literally the most irrelevant thing, like sure change it. Idc i can count sats, bits bitcoin whatever. I havent had anyone say anything that eludes to 'but i cant afford a whole coin' in like 3 years. I think we got the info out that you can buy fractions of a bitcoin.

So what a bitcoin becomes a satoshi so 21 Quadrillion bitcoin, okay general public now thinks the network inflated supply

'21 million only, whqt happened to that'

'No, you see all that happened is ........ And thats why there is no extra supply inflation'

Just see it opening its own can of worms

I will admit i have alot of love for the term sat(oshi) for smallest unit

I mean, that's what Im essentially saying, it's big nothing burger for most of the populace who has already spent long enough getting comfortable with Bitcoin the way that was necessary for them but when people who may have more sway in the progress/development of it start promoting their individual or small scale beliefs about something that hasn't even went through a time of public popularity it actually gets those that may not know a lot about it on a technical level but decided to just trust it because it hasn't changed (in any way that effects their benefits from it) since they've started accumulation. Something simple as a denomination indicator change can be a huge influence to those who don't understand that it's really not going to effect them on a tangible level.
