Most podcasting 2.0 apps use Alby because it’s easy. Now with Alby’s changes we need a different solution for new users because we can’t just have Fountain for V4V payments.
Ironically 99.9% of Bitcoin podcasters and listeners only know or care about Fountain so they don’t even know these other apps exist or are even being affected by this Alby change.

If the Podcast Index ends up sunsetting the Podcaster Wallet shim, and I think they should (the feed is the source of truth), a think a lot of those Bitcoin podcasters that are still using bullshit podcasting hosts that don't support the value block will know and care deeply about it.
If you're a Bitcoin podcaster, and you haven't switched to a host that supports your values via implementing the value block, why not?
