Replying to Avatar Freakoverse

A lot of people miss the point of "never apologies" and it goes over their heads.

Let me help continue the sentence to what is meant by it:

Never apologies if you did nothing wrong.

Obviously.

Otherwise, we're living in an absolutly horrible world (more so than it already is).

Don't give in to bad actors, but don't be a bad actor yourself.

People need to chill.

I thought it was more along the lines of 'never apologize to people who don't really care'.

Some people demand an apology, but just want to use it to tear you down. Though this is more specific with Internet mobs, I guess.

That too in a sense, but ya as you mentioned that's for specific scenarios/circumstances.

Mobs are mobs, even if you apologies to one person specifically, they'd take that for themselves to weaponize it.

But we can't really live by mob rules, that'd be extremely tiring. So we just have to live normally and just be cautious of them as well as know how to defend against them.
