The constructions of the past were made to last in time.

- Roman Colosseum (1944 years)

- Pantheon of Rome (1900 years)

- Aqueduct of Segovia (1925 years)

- Parthenon Athens (2456 years)

- Etchmiadzin Cathedral (1724 years)

- Alhambra of Granada (787 years)

These are just a few examples, the actual constructions will hardly last 100 years.

Today's concrete is perishable compared to carved stone or Roman concrete.

In the same way that today's concrete is perishable because it is of poor quality, today's society is perishable, we will not be remembered for anything.

I recommend you all to study the Roman Empire, it is the most recent example we have of a lost civilization.

After its fall many techniques and technologies that they used for centuries were lost, some like their cement have not been used again.

The sewage system took centuries to be reintroduced and the same with the lead pipes for water.

Many of Europe's roads have been built on the foundations of Roman roads that have lasted 2 millennia, it is simply incredible.

After the fall of the Roman Empire, Europe fell into centuries of decadence.
