Since Bitcoiners like to flirt with freedom, I can report from my own experience that I find owning Bitcoin burdensome. I advise against it.
Why burdensome?
> You have to be extremely careful that no unauthorized persons have access to your seeds.
> Every year (in The United States) The IRS ring your doorbell to check that your Bitcoin is properly reported. No discretion is to be expected. The IRS car parks in front of your house. The 2 officers ring the bell in full uniform. The neighbors ask what happened.
> You must submit tax documents regularly in the use of Bitcoin so that you have a realistic chance of not freeing yourself.
