When we do experiments on monkeys is it to benefit them or us?
The rate of suicide seems to be inversely correlated with the prevalence of religion in society.

I can only speak for myself, family, and friends. Many in my family are atheists, as well as all my friends. We're happy. Suicide rate has many determining factors:
1. Most statistics are either false or inaccurate to varying degrees.
2. Certain cultures have more reliance on religion in their day-to-day lives.
3. Economics have a huge role to play in our level of happiness. Lol. I really don't feel like going in to detail about this one. There's just too much. Sorry.
Glad to hear you’re happy.
As far as 3. Goes, when you see that developed economies have much higher suicide rates than countries whose populations largely exist in poverty… economics are relative. It’s a pseudoscience at best
Spot on. Citizens of developed countries have a tendency to become far too comfortable and privileged. They become too entitled, which often leads to those lucky enough to be living in these countries to become upset and overreact over the most insignificant and trivial matters. Lol. They waaaaayyy too spoiled. It's pathetic. Of course, this is not the case for many. Citizens who grew up in poverty seem to vastly appreciate whatever they have. Far more than citizens who had not grown up in such circumstances.
Traditional Keynesian economics that we were raised to adhere to IS complete pseudoscience. You are correct on that. Fiat is literally backed by nothing! The kind of economics system we're seeing right now with BTC is a whole other story. Lol. Another time.
