This is the first picture of Dorado we ever saw, sent to me by an amazing lady in the Hudson Valley who rescues puppies from a shelter in Puerto Rico. He’s the one looking directly at the camera, of course. The one in front of him is his brother who was adopted by another family.

We instantly knew he was the one. Now we just want to give him a chance to run around and play another day. He’s not even 3 years old yet. β€οΈβ€πŸ©ΉπŸΆ

This hurts man. Still praying for the best. Dorado has very swiftly become Nostr’s dog and we’re all cheering for the best.

Thanks, #[3] πŸ’œ

The friendship and encouragement I’ve found here has no second best.

πŸ™ for good news

Some better news today! My wife and son went to visit Dorado at the vet and he's starting to look a little better. His fever is down, and he was able to walk outside for a few minutes. He was very happy to have family around, and also his favorite medical assistant named Miracle was there. πŸ˜‡

They aren't ruling anything out yet, but it's possible his condition is no longer life-threatening, and we'll be able to bring him home. This pup still has a lot of fight left in him. βœŠβ€οΈβ€πŸ©ΉπŸ• #dogsofnostr
