The adoption rate of Bitcoin is <0.05% of global population by my estimates

There are only about 150 million wallets that have ever been created.. That would be 1.5% adoption if every wallet was a maximalist saving their money in Bitcoin as a store of value. Keep in mind too, 150 million wallets are every wallet that have ever existed going back to 2009, so many could be old wallets that are no longer used. If I had to guess there are only a few million active stackers globally that get it.

Moral of the story, if you believe Bitcoin is going up forever and you want to save it in it, bask in being a rare breed of human!

Numbers are looking in our favor folks. Even if you took the orange pill today, you are extremely early and lucky šŸ¤Ÿāš”ļø

It doesn't matter when you got Orangepilled. Just keep stacking!

Dude, a few hundred of those addresses are me messing around, losing sats, etc. I bet the real number of actual addresses is way lower because winning in slow motion does take a rare breed.

That’s why I said <.05% as in less than. Definitely agree I have at least 100 from me too

I hate how many times I used the word wallet here. Pretty embarressing. Mostly I’m talking about ā€œaddressesā€ not wallets

You remember those fake leather fur-lined wallets from years ago? Now those were wallets. 😁

This is what happens when you don’t self-censor and just type out the first random thought in your head (mental note…stop doing that)

🤣

Ya I tend to just write my thoughts. Not being able to delete and edit has made me much more careful but still happens

Very true! This is why I try and never be negative or asshole(ish) on here. I might type non-sensical things…but try and stay funny or positive.

Haha that’s a good way to be on here. Stay positive and PV

This is the way

I hear you with these stats ... thanks for sharing! In my personal life, there's only one other individual I know who is a Bitcoiner, stacking sats.
