Coin gecko API database was just compromised

Just got a phishing email appearing like ledger to my coingeko simple login

What's cool too is I can just disable this alias now and my whole email mailbox isn't fucked :)

I use for business I need more API calls than the average pleb

Why do you need coingecko specifically? Do you need data on shitcoins?

If just for Bitcoin data, I would highly recommend hosting your own instance of nostr:npub18d4r6wanxkyrdfjdrjqzj2ukua5cas669ew2g5w7lf4a8te7awzqey6lt3 and using that API

I think they don’t have USD pricing, but there are plenty of other free APIs to get daily price data, and make the conversion from there

Oh lol. Yeah I have never needed live price feed so that didn’t occur to me.

I think Coinmetrics and Coindesk (both shitcoin companies) have real time price indexes… but probably those are expensive integrations
