"Easiest" is always relative.

If you ask a normal person, the easiest solution would be a one-click button, that does it.

If you ask a #Linux #FreeSoftware fascist, the "easiest" solution would be to install some weird Free Software only, no `unfree` packages, #GNU #Linux distribution, then compile all packages yourself, because you never know who wants to hack your net worth of 2 sats, then trying to figure out how to modify the 30 year old Perl script, written by someone who probably already died of old age, to make it work with this new serialisation method called "JSON", because XML is the only thing they know, then after weeks of trying to make it work, you have to program an additional Perl module, so you can implement the #Nostr specific functionality.

In the end, even the fanboi gives up, starts using Python & after another week, it still won't work, because every time you use Python there are fuckups with Python version 2 & 3.

So, fanboi writes a #POSIX compliant #shell script, giving it no filename extension, since proper filename highlighting in directory view is only for n00bs, where everything is written in a bad C manner & just as safe as C, i. e. as safe as Windows 95 on the internet in 2023.

The implementation took so many weeks, that those #Nostr APIs are already deprecated & replaced, so you gotta start anew.

This is a "easiest" way for a #Linux #FreeSoftware fascist.
