In Czech republic it works in a way that if not stated otherwise, all posessions become the possessions of both - woman and a man in a marriage. I think there are few things excluded like “personal items” and gifts you officialy recieved as yours only.

But if you for example buy a house in your name only, your spouse is still entitled to the other half. I think.

You can have a “marriage contract” that would define this to be in a different way.

You can divide this “joint possession” even during the marriage but it is a two side deal which is needed to be verified by a notary.

This would actually include #Bitcoin as well, but since that is the only asset in the world they can’t actually sieze you without your permission, you should be able to defend it.

But I guess they can watch your KYC’d UTXOs and if they move, they will try to tax you/force you to pay the half of FIAT value to your ex-wife and such.

Since I love my kids, even if my wife would try to get rid of me (don’t think she will), I am willing to cooperate with everything besides my Bitcoin. Nobody will have that without my consent.
