Lately I’m too heavy with this, but yeah one can achieve a decent level of privacy with #bitcoin. You know, #NoKYC, coin control like a maniac, swapping to LN. A lot of work and very easy to loose privacy. But ok let’s suppose you managed. At the end you don’t know what coins you are getting and you have to be very careful where you use it. On the best of the cases you might end in a #shotgunKYC, or funds locked on the worst demonstrating on the court that you have nothing to do with whatever shit’s attached to the coins history. Not fun!

totally. i suspect that most coins you buy p2p on bisq etc. are tainted coins, used in darknet markets. In the long run it will lead to a situation where we chain-analyze each other because nobody wants to buy tainted coins.

It is so obvious that this is a terrible idea and it is incredible to watch the BTC community not realize it.

Apart from that - the state knows your addresses if you ever bought KYC. When they know how much you have, it is a very small step from showing up at your door and demanding a cut.

Fucking sad to see the BTC community not prioritizing those fatal flaws.

Well… it seems that “everybody gets #bitcoin at the price they deserve”. The very same that everybody gets #monero at the cost they deserve.
