I would like that. There are some many use cases and relays would have to implement logic for every situation if we didn't have something general.

actually I'm confused now bc in telegram chat sascha says tags have to be explicitly included in relay config to get indexed (which I like). but #nip12 'hashtag' tag is working and I don't think its considered standard..? maybe relays index everything rn but not in the future?
Databases can still be fast without indices when they're small. It will be up to relays to add indices where it makes sense. Not sure how tags are indexed in the rust relay...
i'm not concerned about now when theyre small, I'm thinking about the future when theyre large. either we need a standard set of tags to index, or clients should have the ability to query a relay for all the indexes the relay supports. imo at least
