I hate people justifying stupid stuff with "In the past the Greeks did it" or "In the Roman times the Roman soldiers did it" and I'm like yeah, they also molested little boys all the time to, now stop being retarded and understand that civilizations fall for a reason. You can learn from the past but you shouldn't emulate the past. Especially not a past that failed.
