His work with Big Black was amazing: violent, nihilistic, grinding noise punk music that pushed the limits of the limitations of the traditional rock song structure. A true artist that was unafraid of breaking the established norms of not the “normies” of his day, but rather the hipsters. A real contrarian’s contrarian !
