I was a Republican until I realized I had no money.
I was a Democrat until I realized I was everything they hated.
Does that make me a Libertarian? I dunno, just leave me alone.

Itās not possible to be totally independent because man, by nature, depends on others. We know this innately when weāre around newborn babies. The most important aspects of our lives are relations to others (spouse, friends, etc.) Thereās also the problem that ābeing left aloneā doesnāt stop others from getting together and doing evil not just amongst themselves but eventually to others. Libertarianism doesnāt work.
We have a responsibility to ourselves, each other, and God to strive towards the common good as a society.
