You can block or ban a Nostr website or app, but users can just take their keys and login to other websites or apps. You can't effectively ban everything because new apps and self hosted apps will always pop-up or exist. It becomes a game of whack-a-mole.

Thank you for your reply Sir π«
I was banned by a Nostr Web (...!) without doing anything wrong. π«
It is really upset to get banned like this without their careful review!!! β οΈ
i was banned by a web app a few months ago. i talked about it publicly and the ban was removed. they said they did it accidentally, which can happen, but most people saw through the lie. my recommendation is to ask, because sometimes mistakes CAN and DO happen.
They didn't even give me a reason why they banned me, Sir β οΈ
that sucks, but that's honestly fine. we're still talking, right? you can still communicate. if you liked features of that app, you can deploy that code yourself. and if you can't deploy it, that's again fine. nostr is working as intended. one app bans you, and hundreds of others exist and we're still communicating.
π― Exactly! π«‘
thatβs the beauty of Nostr
No single app or server can silence the network.
As long as your keys exist, your voice does too.
True freedom in communication.
