I tried some different merino wool socks.

So far, I think Smartwool brand sucks hard. Was too abrasive after only about 10km. Do not recommend. Would simply wear cotton for 20% of the cost for its performance.

REI branded ones are much better and what Id expect for warmth, comfort, and moisture management.

I'll be trying the Darn Tough ones next
