I liked Tyler Cowen's Great Stagnation. Short book, but YT summary presentation is enough. Peter Thiel is a big fan too. Not sure if the quote about flying cars was before or after he read Cowen's work.

Makes me ponder if the next big thing will happen at all. The smartphone was the last time it felt like something was changing. Crypto never really felt like that aside from my first order on Silk Road.
