I think that's where the "stay humble" part comes in haha. Every day I'm learning something, it's amazing really. My understanding so far is Coin mixing is adding some confusion on the blockchain to achieve some level of privacy. Making chain analysis difficult for those nefarious government types lol.
Yep, that’s what I understand as well. It’s important for sure. I think I’m just confused as how to implement and do that properly without fucking anything up lol.
The other issue arises from what I’ve read somewhere is when you go to possibly sell one day and you sell those coinjoined coins on exchange, there’s going to be problems. 
I'm not sure, good points you bring up. I'm still doing my homework and for now just learning by doing. But I'll go down that rabbit hole too lol
CoinJoin is basically a collaborative transaction with multiple people that returns your funds to you denominated in equal amounts.
For a couple of reasons, this disrupts analysis of the blockchain. Otherwise, it's fairly trivial to follow the flow of funds across the network.
