For any graphene phone users having issues with newpipe not working, add their repository to your fdroid app. Works great for me now.

NewPipe checks for updates itself for me from it's GitHub.

Usually when I have trouble, it's resolved after an update. Like they're in a constant battle with getting data out of youtube anonymously.

Yeah, this issue started for me recently, up until then it updated fine.
