To be fair, Blackrock didn't short the stock. Austin Capital did.
Blackrock is a major owner in them.
However, they are major owners in MOST public companies.
They do t actually own jack, it's not their money.
Vanguard also owns them, and every other person.
DJT is a horrific stock, they are losing millions, trump owns the majority of it by far so it is iliquod mostly, and shorting is is likely a good idea.
Just food for thought.
