"Runs" presupposes that "in the beginning" the computer was first created (...by God)... in order to form/design the simulation & host it. The computer cannot spontaneously manifest, but God is eternal.

Many call that "intelligent design" by the supreme being.

If you can blindly & humbly accept that true faith & discernment (that God really is God) is a "gift from God"...then maybe the only real question is:

1) How sincerely & intensely do you want it?

2) How often & sincerely have you asked Him for it?

Engaging in that process is a legitimate form of prayer...imho...and likely, incrementally...CREATES faith de facto. Not everyone gets a Damascus road experience.
