No? So what actually happens when I request a deletion? Does it just hide the post?

You might be able to get one relay to delete it, but if you are publishing to multiple relays, good luck getting them all to delete a message

Do the ones I deleted still show? They don't show for me so idk

I assume some people can still see them if the relays shared.
