I don’t believe the America First movement to truly place America first. Instead, they appear to be full of religious zealots who would absolutely place Christendom before America in almost any scenario. Their vision of America is a regression in harkening of a time as the 40s and 50s, but with more extreme traditional values. Supremely bootlickers. The classic “good ‘ol boy” system reborn. No separation of church and state. Instead, it would appear as an enforcement of church over state. If the movement continues to grow, I suspect we’ll see an emergence of a 21st century crusade.
