Same. I'm constantly asking this question.
Only thing I can see that could make things tricky is state / institutional capture of mining leading to whitelists & blacklists, outlawing non-KYC coins in certain jurisdictions.
Of course none of this would destroy Bitcoin, would just make it a bit harder to use in some cases.
And I'm not even sure if that's a realistic threat.
