Hmm. Could have sworn I tried that or similar. Never found an extension that works well.

This one works reasonably well, it's fast and dark mode autodetection so that it does modify anything if the website is already dark.

I even use it on mobile.

I’ll give it a try. HN without dark mode is criminal

I use it for years now with no problem. Tried it on several Firefox and chromium based browsers had no problem on any.

Autodetection sometimes doesn't load something on the page properly ( very rare 3 or 4 times a year )
