It’s easier than ever to eat healthy and 100% plant based! And plant based diets have been around for thousands of years.
Multiple ways to eat and live healthy :)
But you do you, to each their own 🤝

I disagree that 100% plant-based diets have been around 1000's of years.
Without the agricultural revolution, survival without animal products in 90% of the world, was impossible.
Yeah a lot of majority Asian cultures also are fish, it’s true.
I would say it’s easier than ever post agricultural revolution and today to eat plant based
processed, treated, expensive, flown around the world, "green" options.
got it.
It's marketing.
Nothing wrong with local, in-season, plants, but "thriving on it" isn't going to happen.
Sorry, our food system is broken.
You mean like the entire food industry period? That isn’t specific to just plant based. Also outside of that it’s ethics for me personally. I never appreciate the broad claims of “no such thing as healthy plant based diet,” just as I wouldn’t say someone can’t be healthy doing a carnivore diet. I, personally, just don’t, and also don’t know enough about it tbh.
It's a rabbit hole.
I'm not pointing fingers.
Plenty of horrible practices in the meat industry, as well. "Shake a ranchers hand."
Go to the source, if vegetable based diet us what you seek, go to the source.
Don't confuse eating animals as not respecting or loving them, I'd argue they're more loved and valued when we recognize the value they provide.
Good luck on your journey.
Thanks for the amicable conversation.
That’s what I’d like to show, and this wouldn’t even be possible on twitter, so thanks!
Nuanced convos on socials are hard in general. Hoping #nostr can make it easier. We don’t have to agree on everything, and shouldn’t, but good faith convos are nice 🤙🏻
