After several hours of fruitless attempts to reconnect my nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm Wallet to Alby hub, I finally managed it by deleting everything and starting again.
Despite it not being connected, the Alby browser extension saw the entire transaction history, but not the balance.
I eventually had to choose a different budget to stop it using the same non existent connection.
I finally got it working, but you have to fool it that it isn't already connected.
I think a more robust disconnect and reconnect scripts are needed for corrupted connections.
That’s my biggest problem with it. The whole point of it for me is to have an always on lightning addy, but it doesn’t stay connected! Even though my Start9 box is always on. It just disconnects! I have to log back in and then it’s back on. Still a work in progress.
I’ve also had this problem, which is different to the problem I describe above.

What I mean is someone tries to zap sats to me and it doesn’t work. Or I try to zap sats and that doesn’t work. Then I log into my server, and log into my nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm hub and I’m back in business.
and you run alby hub on start9?

Just FYI in case it wasn't clear — you need to re-login after every software update, since Alby Hub is restarted in the process and it would not be safe security-wise to not require login then. It shouldn't happen more often than once in 2 weeks or so (when updates are released).
Or throw the password into your .env file if youre running in docker. The var is AUTO_UNLOCK_PASSWORD
