More on this soon!

I ordered a few #Sensecap #T1000e devices to use with #meshtastic and I'm really impressed so far. Fun tinkering with my Dad today and even got him (hopefully) started with his journey into #nostr

Several use cases I've now got lined up that I intend to test and document. I'll share more as I have time.

I have that same device and with the GPS turned off I find that I get 2 days and 10 hours of battery charge quite easily and generally 2 days and 15 hours or better. I've been running it on nothing except for its internal battery and one of those 20,000 mAh phone backup batteries since February 1st and it's still running.

absolutely impressive! you running stationary or a daily carry? curious how your use compares. I found it actually performing pretty well in dense urban environments so far.

Its a daily carry. I have it in vlient_mute since its not high up and wont contribute much.

Been thinking about getting a couple meshtastic devices… in a small farming/ranching town of 320 people and my shipping container workshop is almost the highest point in the county I think. Was thinking about welding a 20-30’ tv antenna tower to one of them and putting a meshtastic node and small solar panel up near the top.

No one else I know of , near me though that uses it…

Nice! I highly recommend starting with a small cheap device (or 3+ if you're like me), and just start playing and testing range. I had like 4 nodes going in under an hour - preassembled I will say.

Sadly, I have about 432 other projects around the farm… Lol
