There are answers in the Bible:

Hebrews 4:12-13:

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

God knows the future and even the secrets.

Interesting perspective to have and totally respected..

I am fully aware my decision could be wrong but what nobody has ever answered is if you are a genuine person and do no harm and live the way you understand is the correct way - you essentially go to hell yet a rapist and serial killer on death row gives his life to Christ and he goes to Heaven?

Great question. God's laws are laws of love. If we live by God's government of love and righteouness we are fitted for Heaven. "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets." Matthew 7:12.

God gave us the Bible so we can know the truth and learn God's requirements. As the word is spread by His messengers, people have the opportunity to choose to become God's children and go to Heaven or Satan's slave be destroyed with him. "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." Mat 24:14

"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" John 1:12 "... Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Act 16:30-31

The sinner you talk of goes to heaven because he repented of his sins and God forgave him. "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

So how I interpret this is this..

Person who decides to not read the Bible and live a life like a religious person but doesn’t give his life to Christ as they say?

But the rapist and disgusting human repenting he is given the green light for a lack of better words?

That to me doesn’t make sense..

I'm sure those who do not read, but live their life according to the laws of love will go to Heaven. But the rapist and murderer who repents is also save. We have all sinned small or big, but we have an opportunity to accept God's gift of everlasting life.

Well then you answered my question…

Someone who lives life with love and compassion and genuine will go to heaven..

Me personally - anyone raping or killing people I have an issue with..

But who am I 👆🏻🤦🏻‍♂️

Yes, God is Love. You cannot choose to live life in love with choosing God even if you haven't heard of Him. But don't take my word for it. It's all mapped out in the Bible. There are treasures to find there and an eternal hope.

The rapist and killer had a genuin change of heart. If God knows the heart and cheracter, he knows who goes to Heaven. He also helps us in living better lives so we never commit sins again. Maybe here and there we mess up, but God is merciful and forgiving. It's here on earth that we practice living heavenly priciples so we can move to heaven and call it home.

Interesting… I’ll do my own research but I think I’ll stick to being an all round good person and not a prick..

Do you believe in 10% of salary to the church?

To get to heaven you gotta believe in heaven otherwise you going to hell.

the bible was written by biased men and translated by even more biased men. I love when people quote the Bible like ith was etched into stone, where are those tablets we hear so much about?

oh, dog, why did I reply...

Haha that’s what I’ve thought.. it’s been changed many times.. and there are so many variations of the religion..

I also learnt today in Jewish religion that a man has to sign allowing a woman to be divorced and if he doesn’t she can’t get married in the Jewish community - is that true?

"The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, and sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.

"Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:

"And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.

"But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

"Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.

"So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.

"And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:

"And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.

"Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen." Matthew 22:2-14

This other story is of a king who set up his son's wedding.

The king sent his servants to the invitees to invite them to come. But no one came.

So he sent his servants to invite them again. But the invitees went just went about to check on their farm or business. The last people though killed the servants.

When the king heard the news, he sent his armies to destroyed those murderers along with their cities.

Then he said to his servants once again to go out, since now the banquet is ready, but this time, go into the roads and invite as many people as they find. So his servants did what they were told, inviting good and bad people from the streets. And they came to ne guests.

When the king came out to meet his guests he saw a man without appropriate wedding clothes on. He asked him about it, but the man was speechless. Then the king ordered him to be tied by the hands and by the feet and taken outside where it was dark.

"Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.

"And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents. But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

"The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

"Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

"But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.

"And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

"And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.

"So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

"Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?

"And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

"So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses." Matthew 18:23-35

I also don’t have the brain capacity to read the Bible because of the way it’s written..

Also aren’t there many different kinds of bibles with different interpretations of the original one?

I’m curious to get answers.. because nobody in real life has ever given me a genuine answer other than live by faith not by sight.. that to me makes zero sense..

There are different translations for modern English and such, but they tend to be less reliable. I can summarize this story and explain it to you, just give me a moment.

The version of the Bible I'm sharing with you was translated by Martin Luther from Greek and Hebrew.

I appreciate your input on this matter.. which is the most “genuine” copy and easy to read?

I’d possibly read it but because my mind works from a completely different perspective after BTC it might be counter productive..

My mom is a die hard Christian and nearly lost her relationship with me and my brother because of forcing the issue..

Check out the New King James Version and the Revised version, which might be easier to read and understand with best fidelity.

Christianity was also forced by my in my home, but I realised that God gives each one a choice. He wouldn't even force us to go to heaven!

Since then, I've experienced so much joy. I can share more of my experience in DM if you want to hear more.

So there was a king that realized that one of his servants owed him ten thousand talents, so he called him and told him to pay it back. But the servant didn't have the momey to pay it back and begged for time to pay it all. The king was then moved to compassion and canceled his debt!

Then the servant walked out of palace and ran into his fellow servant on his way out, who owed him one hundred pence. So he demanded his money back. But his fellow servant had no money and begged for time to pay it off. But he threw him in prison instead till he pays off his debt.

Someone told the king and he became angry brought this servant who didn't forgive his fellow when he himself was just forgiven of his own debt which was much more.

So the king ordered that the servant who didn't forgive his fellow servant to be taken away and tormented till he pays off his debt.

God said to Eve, "freely eat of any tree of the garden--but that one, it's not safe. Trust me: don't eat af that one."

Eve said, "why not? It **looks** good to me." She didn't believe his word, she believed her eyes--and doubted his goodness. That's the 'backstory' to that phrase.

Not everything that looks good, is good.

Shame.. she wanted an apple because an apple a day keeps the DR away? Haha jokes!

I get your point.. thank you!🤙🏻
