Eth foundation: We're hard forking AGAIN. If you don't upgrade, your node is useless. You have no choice. We'll let you withdraw your coins now but not all of it. You can deposit as much as you like but withdrawals will be rate limited.

Ask your cat to wait for a couple of weeks. Even then, you can't unstake all of it. Hopefully it's not a major surgery. No such limits on deposits though.
