My observation is some people want religion for immediate answers to:

Why am I here?

What happens after I die?

(My family/schooling/friends/environment taught me nothing or weren’t clear so,) What moral/ethics rules should I follow?

I personally either have or don’t need to know those answers immediately. But obviously others have different preferences. That’s how I presume to understand people’s interest in religions 🤷🏻.

Yeah I agree that people don’t like the idea of not knowing why we’re here or how we came to be. They’re too arrogant to think that their existence isn’t special and doesn’t have a higher meaning lol
