I always feel very far left on the bell curve when doing home improvement projects, but by the end I feel like I am to the right of the bell curve once again.
Lesson: I tend to feel retarded until the project is completed.

I can relate. There's probably a german word for this feeling.
If you have a Home Depot visit to project a ratio less than or equal to 1, that is center right of the bell curve (coming from a person with a ratio >= 1)
