This bush is a type of hibiscus. I tried to chop it down when we first moved here because it grows into the door way and the screen door can't shut. It just comes back. Since then, I've found out that the little flowers make a tiny fruit and the flowers can be used to make some sort of tincture for heart health. And as I've started sitting outside for the sunrise I've discovered the humming birds love it. Needless to say it's a favorite now.
