Verified doesn't mean what you think it means on signal. I can "verify" a safety number from a contact with that name without actually verifying it is them.

Yes I understand that. I was pointing out that Lola's direct message to Luke was not verified, which contradicts your initial statement.

Oh I see, yes I worded that poorly. I mean to say: the leaker, the signal contact, and Luke Dashjr would have had to verify that the signal profile is genuine in person. Otherwise "verified" means nothing.
