Files or video files must be stored on computers, it costs a lot for storage. Nostr clients cannot store millions of videos files because they don’t have tens of billions of dollars like X , YouTube or Facebook. So, hundreds of nostr users ( hopefully) each can store several videos on their computer at home or phones can choose to seed and get paid (zaps ) by viewers ( nostr users watch videos - leeches), this incentivize them to keep videos online for a long time. BitTorrent live might be needed here. This is decentralized video hosting, storing and broadcasting, therefore resists censorship. Nostr community now can be independent from X, YouTube, etc.
